Have you ever tried sailing? Bald Head Island has stunning views that make an ideal backdrop for sailing. Book a sailing experience with the Sail Shop for any skill level. Learn to sail yourself with the kids and enjoy a memory you’ll never forget. You can also join an instructor for a tour of the Cape Fear River and sail along South Beach. Up to four people can go on these tours and enjoy a relaxing ride.  

There are so many things to enjoy at the beach and it’s hard to fit it all in. We recommend spreading out a blanket and enjoying a beach picnic. Oftentimes, your crew can be running back and forth to your beach home for snacks and drinks. Plan ahead and stay together while eating a meal by the shore. If you aren’t up for being stuck together, there are also beach cruisers, adult trikes, and children’s bikes available to rent.
