Memorial Day Weekend Celebration

Bald Head Island is the one of the best places to officially kick off summer, with parties, kids’ activities and a host of island-wide events.

Adventure enthusiasts can get their thrill on with standup paddleboarding (SUP) excursions, kayak trips, surf lessons, hikes and island nature tours. Kids interested in nature will love crabbing and cast netting lessons, touch tank time and reptile exploration with the Bald Head Island Conservancy. If you're looking for a party, the Memorial Weekend Red, White & Blue Cookout at the Bald Head Island Club is fun for the whole family. The Sunset Celebration sponsored by Riverside Adventure Co. features jugglers, a puppet show, music, and a beach party with a drum circle, bonfire and s'mores.
