Special celebrations at the Bald Head Island Club and Shoals Club adds a fitting end to summer. 

Whether you live to work or long to play Labor Day is the one holiday that celebrates you! Bald Head Island commends you for another year of hard work with a long weekend full of fun. While COVID means less typical events make this labor day one for the Family, explore the beach, go for a hike, kayak the creeks or sail into the sunset. Get in a game of golf or rejuvenate at the spa. Treat yourself to an adventure that is all yours.

Labor Day Weekend Notes

Pool-time reservations are required at both clubs, and are reserved in two-hour blocks.  BHI Club Members can reserve pool times up to 48 hours in advance by using the new BHI Club App, found on the Aquatics page of the member website.  Registered Temporary Members may make reservations every morning within 24 hours, by using a new App on the club website aquatics page or by clicking here,  This helps save time, and eliminates the need to wait in unsafe lines.  Member cards are required to enter the Club and use all amenities. Shoals Club pool reservations may be made by calling 910-454-4888. 

Coastal Urge will be temporarily launching all kayak and paddleboard excursions from the Creek Landing site rather than the harbor's main dock - due to the main dock being severely damaged during the hurricane. All bike rentals are handled at the retail store at 12 Maritime Way. If you'd like to take a paddleboard or kayak excursion, or rent a bike for a day or a week, it's best to reserve on-line at www.coastalurge.com, or drop by the store and reserve in-person.
