Every summer, Bald Head Island steps back in time as pirates take over the island for one of its most anticipated family traditions. From July 31–August 2, the Bald Head Island Pirate Invasion returns with an action-packed weekend of swashbuckling adventures, live entertainment, and interactive experiences for pirates of all ages.

- Pirate Encampment at Marina Park – Explore an authentic pirate village featuring live pirate music, historical demonstrations, magic, interactive entertainment, and pirate vendors.

- Sea Battle at Beach Access #5 – Watch pirates storm the shore in the weekend's signature event, complete with cannon fire and thrilling sword fights.
