Wednesday, April 1
Howl at the Moon
5:00 – 7:00 PM | Beach Access #39, 188 Station House Way
Kick off Easter week at this lively Sunset/Moonrise gathering. Peter the Piper returns to fill the dunes with ancient bagpipe melodies while Chef Taylor brings a hearty pot of soup to share. Everyone is invited. Just bring an appetizer and your favorite refreshment. A beach bonfire (weather permitting) will add to the festive atmosphere. Hosted by the Maritime Market.
Thursday, April 2
Maundy Thursday Communion Service
5:00 – 6:00 PM | Village Chapel of Bald Head Island, 105 Lighthouse Wynd
Holy Week begins with a Maundy Thursday service commemorating the Last Supper. Led by Rev. Ken Chester, BHI's Island Chaplain, this meaningful service is open to everyone. It's a quiet, reflective way to step into the Easter season before the weekend festivities begin.

Maritime Market Side Porch Oyster Roast
5:00 – 7:00 PM | Forest Pavilion, 8 Maritime Way
Good Friday gets a coastal spin at this fan-favorite annual gathering. Dig into steamed oysters, Old Bay shrimp, pulled pork barbecue, roasted chicken, and a spread of sides and desserts. The Tiki Bar will be serving specialty cocktails, and live music by Mark Daffer will keep the energy going all evening.

Saturday, April 4
BHI Conservancy's Easter Turtle Trot 5K
8:30 AM | Conservancy Campus, 700 Federal Rd
Start Easter Saturday morning with purpose. The BHI Conservancy's Turtle Trot 5K raises vital funds for sea turtle protection along BHI's nesting beaches. Open to all ages and fitness levels, it's a wonderful way to get the family moving while giving back to the island you love. Register now.
Easter Egg Hunt

After the race, head over to The Common for BHI's beloved Easter Egg Hunt, an island tradition sponsored by the Education & Recreation Committee of the Bald Head Association. Let the little ones loose and watch the magic unfold.
BHI Artisans Show & Sale

Spend the afternoon browsing beautiful, handcrafted works from talented local artisans. From jewelry and paintings to ceramics and textiles, this is the perfect place to find a meaningful Easter or spring gift — or simply to support the creative community that makes BHI so special.
Easter Eve Party at Bald Head Bottle
4:30 – 6:30 PM | 2 Maritime Way
Close out the day with family and friends at this festive Easter Eve gathering. The highlight? An Easter Egg Hunt starting promptly at 5:00 PM — with prizes for both kids and adults. Arrive early to stake your claim! Special cocktails and snack menus round out the evening perfectly.
