Roast and Toast on the Coast with Bald Head Island

One of our favorite events on Bald Head Island is the annual Roast and Toast on the Coast. This Southern Living Inspired event takes place for three days on beautiful Bald Head Island. Join us as we celebrate life in the South!

The event begins on Friday, November 8^th at 6:00pm with a traditional oyster roast at the Bald Head Island Club. A tasty oyster roast will be served with all the essentials on the club’s verandah. Enjoy a meal under the stars with live music and cash bar. 

Saturday, November 9^th from 1:00-5:00pm you can tour the new Southern Living Inspired Home located at 803 Federal Road in Cape Fear Station. Join us at 5:00pm on The Common at Cape Fear Station for a cookout featuring Southern Smoke. Enjoy fine wine and craft beer as well as dinner by pit master Matt Register. Live music will fill the air at 6:30pm with bluegrass favorites Massive Grass!

The Bald Head Island Club will host a delicious brunch on Sunday, from 10am-2:00pm. Reservations are required for the events. Tickets for the events can be purchased online and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Old Baldy Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to the maintenance and preservation of the oldest standing lighthouse in North Carolina.
