Autumn visits, between the middle of September through the end of October are said to be the best time of year on Bald Head Island. The crowds are fewer, the temperatures cooler and the prices are lower for the fall season. You will have the beach to yourself and no wait to dine at your favorite Bald Head Island Restaurants. Not to mention a full line of fall favorite events throughout the months of September and October.
