Fourth of July on Bald Head Island

Bald Head Island really knows how to celebrate July 4th! Join the Old Baldy Foundation and Bald Head Island Community in celebrating Independence Day with our signature Golf Cart Parade. The annual parade is a highlight every summer with fun for everyone. Golf carts are the preferred mode of transportation on Bald Head Island and the parade is an opportunity to decorate the island with elaborate golf cart “floats”. Participants will follow tradition and decorate their golf carts for awards in the following categories: Patriotic, Old Baldy, or Anything BHI. Each year, the event draws over 100 entries. For those that don’t make it over to the event, they can still watch the festivities. This year we will be broadcasting the parade with a live feed.
