Celebrate Independence Day on Bald Head Island

Temperatures and entertainment are heating up around the island. Special festivities start on Thursday, July 2nd and there are still select houses available to rent for the holiday weekend. Nature lovers will appreciate such activities as the Sea Turtle Patrol, Turtle Walk and Birding BHI.  Adventure seekers will appreciate the Patriot Paddle Excursion, Kayaking the Creeks or Beach Bootcamp.  There’s also Bald Head After Dark activities like movies, turtle walks, and sea turtle patrol. Also among the weekend events are the Annual Cart Parade, a Fun Run, and a Stars & Stripes Pool Party. Island-wide open houses presented by Bald Head Island Limited Real Estate Sales include some of the latest properties for sale. Celebrate America’s Independence on an island rich in the history of our nation’s early years including the home of Fort George.
