Register Now for BHI Conservancy Summer Programs

Registration is now open for the Bald Head Island Conservancy's summer programs. The Conservancy offers family adventures aimed at the whole family and children's camps that give budding naturalists a chance for hands on learning about barrier island ecosystems.

Some new family adventure programs are on deck for 2014, including expanded dissection offerings and specialty workshops. And of course, old favorites like Touch Tank Time, Turtle Walks, Kayaking the Creeks, Maritime Forest Hike and Bald Head After Dark are back. Online registration is available.

The children's camp offerings include Budding Naturalists for ages 4-6, Junior Scientists Camp for ages 7-10 and Conservation Corps for ages 11-14. All camps introduce chidren the barrier island environment and involve them with research at an age-appopriate level. New this year is an overnight camp for kids ages 7-14. Online registration is available.
