BHI Conservancy Kicks Off Spring Lecture Series

The Bald Head Island Conservancy is kicking off their Spring Lecture Series on Saturday, March 9 with a talk entitled "Save the Cape." Mike Rice and Toby Brownstein from Save the Cape will speak about their efforts to establish a national seashore on the lower Cape Fear River.


The event will take place at the Fleming Environmental Center on the BHI Conservancy's campus. The talk will begin a 4:00 p.m. and will be preceded by a wine and cheese social at 3:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Conservancy at 910-457-0089.
