Will never rent from them again

Our stay was cut short by one whole day dur to bad customer service from the rental company. We travelled with a newborn and asked for a crib. Checked in and there wasn't one. Waited and found pack n play had been delivered while out with family. Called and requested a crib and never heard back!! So careful if traveling with baby--the company doesnt care and it is simply not safe or easy to put a newborn to sleep with a five foot drop. The house was just okay. Terrible stains on the carpet that made me uncomfortable without shoes on. Bathrooms very dated. Beds comfortable and our two year old loved the bunk beds. The crofter was also very dated and looked like a sparse motel room. The TV was impossible to figure out with one of the main channels without sound for some odd reason. Obviously we got no sleep during our stay and never to this day have we gotten a callback. We returned the keys a full day early and do not plan on renting again from this company. Simply, this was not what I would expect for this kind of money...disappointing at best.

Super House

Our family stayed at Blue Heron and was very happy there. The staff was great and very responsive and the house was a wonderful fit for us. Everything we could have possibly needed was already there! It was a long drive from alabama, but BHI is a magical place. Thanks for the great customer service!

Wonderful stay!

This is an exceptional rental property -- much nicer than our previous 3 rentals on BHI. The house is better-equipped than most rentals, especially the kitchen. There was an abundance of towels in the bathrooms. The proximity to the beach is wonderful -- especially for a late night swim! The house was also cleaner than we've found other rental properties to be. Blue Heron was fantastic.
