New Wayfarer Shop Opens Along Maritime Way
Maritime Way on Bald Head Island has a colorful new resident—Wayfarer, a new apparel and gift store, recently opened its doors to shoppers. The store presents a wide variety of items for women, men and children, from beach bags to coffee mugs to golf shirts, with most featuring the classic Bald Head Island logo.
"Vacationers and islanders alike want something to remind them of their time spent on Bald Head Island. Wayfarer offers a range of Bald Head logo sportswear, housewares, spa items and beach goods that they can enjoy both on the island and when they return to the mainland," says manager Gary Mills, who's spearheaded the opening of the store.
Wayfarer is located at 12B Maritime Way, between the Maritime Market and Canopy Outfitters. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
