Membership in the BHI Yacht Club includes exclusive use of a boat slip in the island's 10-acre protected harbour with accommodations for yachts up to 100' with 7' draft at MLW. The marina's ice-free basin offers a lighted entrance channel, 30-amp, 50-amp and 100-amp electric hookups, gas and diesel fuel. Slips associated with these memberships range in size from 30' to 100'.

Bordering the Bald Head Island Marina are two inns, two restaurants, a small convenience store and a bathhouse with restrooms, showers and laundry facilities.
