With its shingle-style exterior and spacious verandah, the Bald Head Island Club's presence is both stately and welcoming. Inside, warm paneling and traditional furnishings create a classic country club environment with a relaxed ambiance.

The Club's 18-hole golf course wraps 6,855 yards around freshwater lagoons, through a spectacular maritime forest and across dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and is considered by many to be one of the finest courses in the Carolinas. Other Club amenities include four tennis courts (located close enough to the ocean to hear the surf), a 25-meter swimming pool positioned just across a lagoon from the Atlantic, and regulation greenswards providing a picture-perfect venue for the genteel sport of croquet. What's more, a well-equipped fitness room allows you to stick to your exercise program in climate-controlled comfort.

The Club also offers a variety of dining options, including an elegant dining room, a handsome lounge and a members-only grille. Seasonally, the poolside Pelicatessen offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments. A busy calendar of special social events keeps the atmosphere lively year-round, including member-guest golf tournaments, the annual Gala in White party for members, and special holiday dining events.
