The protected, 10-acre Bald Head Island Marina, homeport to the Bald Head Island Yacht Club, offers boaters the full complement of boating amenities, as well as front-door access to the extraordinary pleasures of the island. Surrounded by the charming homes, shops and restaurants of Harbour Village, the marina makes for a perfect stopover for cruising vessels, as well as an ideal homeport.

The Bald Head Island Marina is located two miles off the coast of Southport, NC, near the mouth of the Cape Fear River, with easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean via a deep-water shipping channel with federally maintained navigational aids.

Indigo Plantation Marina

Tucked into a quiet corner of idyllic Southport, NC, the Indigo Plantation Marina is not only the mainland embarkation point to beautiful Bald Head Island, it's the homeport of the Indigo Plantation Yacht Club.

Strategically located along the Intracoastal Waterway, near the confluence of the Cape Fear River and Atlantic Ocean, the two-acre Indigo Plantation Marina is a well-protected, ice-free basin offering seven-foot draft at MLW. Federally maintained navigational aids along a deep-water shipping channel provide immediate access to some of the East Coast's finest fishing grounds, including Frying Pan Shoals and the Gulf Stream.

Slips range in size from 20'-40', and transient dockage is available for yachts up to 70'. Electric hookups provide 30- and 50-amp power. Slip rentals are available on a daily or monthly basis.
