In addition to all the activities available to your family on
the island, the Shoals Club Recreation Department organizes programs
in which younger children and teens can get together with others
their age.
All programs meet at the Harbour Pavilion Tent Site, unless otherwise
indicated.

Koastal Kids Discovery Mondays, Harbourside pavilion from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Learn about science and nature; explore the island and its creatures including a historic tour of the Old Baldy Lighthouse. Camp activities change weekly and a swimsuit may be required so call ahead for details. Space is limited please pre register by calling 457-3701. Lunch will be provided.

Koastal Kids Super Surprise Wednesdays, Harbourside pavilion from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Activities may include cooking for kids, magic tricks, fire safety and education, aquatic life and much more! Photo Scavenger Hunt, An activity for the entire family to enjoy! Meet at the Harbourside pavilion no later than 2 pm to participate in an island wide scavenger hunt. You may travel by foot, bike, or golf cart around the island checking items off your list. Cameras will be provided and prizes will be awarded to the winning team! |

Movie on Old Baldy, A classic experience unique to Bald Head Island. Join us at the lighthouse after 8pm when the sun goes down to enjoy a family feature projected on the side of Old Baldy Lighthouse. Call ahead for show listing and the exact time the movie will start. |

Koastal Kids Pirate Treasure Fridays, Harbourside pavilion from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. Kids will go on an adventure to search for pirate treasure. Follow clues to various landmarks on the island which will lead to a dig on the beach. Space is limited please pre register by calling 457-3701. Lunch will be provided.
